Moments of Wonder in Small things…

More than ever we need ways to recharge our energy, calm our anxieties, and practice self-care. Seeking out moments that inspire awe or wonder (experiences that push you to think about ideas, issues, and people outside of yourself) can help you achieve these goals.

This doesn’t necessarily require a trip to the Taj Mahal or a Five-star hotel; noticing a starry night sky, an unexpected act of kindness, or the changing colors of the leaves can be just as awesome.

One simple and powerful opportunity is to take an “awe walk” — a 20-minute break to wander, be curious, and observe the beauty around you (even in a familiar place like your yard or neighborhood). Suppose you can’t step away from your desk, take advantage of the natural wonders at your fingertips. In that case, several studies have shown that even videos of nature (check out the docuseries Planet Earth) can inspire our sense of awe.

Not only will these little moments of wonder recharge your batteries, they’ll also improve your creativity and collaboration at work.

The reason why truth wins…

Here are the reasons why truth wins over lies:

Lies are unsettling, it does not allow you to think far…

Truth is settling, it calms you and helps in long-term thinking.

The more lies you tell, the further you go away from yourself, and slowly but certainly you start lying to yourself.

Truth is harsh but it lets you grow, making you understand yourself better.

Lies make you weak, truth makes you bold.

So if it’s possible be with truth and ignore lies.

Even if you don’t have peers…

Do your social circles define you?

If you live with entrepreneurs you will become a successful entrepreneur.

If you live with artists you will become a successful artist.

So on ..so forth.

But does all the successful entrepreneur comes from the same area? Not really, in fact, they come from different varieties of areas and fields.

So conformity to a social circle mostly is just a historical data analysis, but the variety is what wins.  And variety gives the chance to everyone who does not have the opportunity to be in that circle.

So don’t worry if you don’t have the conformity of a good circle, you have the variety, you have the will to do good, to move forward, and be the bests!

So whatever you want to do, do it, it’s all on you!

Waiting to happen…

Sometimes we are waiting for things to happen.

Should we pause or keep doing our day-to-day work?

Pausing leads to more stress better is to keep doing what you are doing with your head down

And hope for the best it will happen!

Now or Never is a fallacy…

As the saying goes: If we don’t do it Now, it will Never be done.

Is it really true?

How about doing it when it comes to you, doing it with precision, doing it with consistency? I believe there is no point in being fanatic about doing it now. Do it when you believe in doing it.

Hence don’t worry if you missed things in life and regret that time has gone by. It will come again and that time you will be better prepared to do it.

So in life it’s more like:

Now or Whenever!

Why do we like gossiping?

Gossiping can be an enjoyable activity for many people for several reasons.

Firstly, it provides a sense of social bonding and helps to build and strengthen relationships. When people share gossip with one another, they are often expressing trust and intimacy with each other, which can lead to a sense of belonging and closeness.

Secondly, gossiping can be a way to gain information about others and the world around us. People often share gossip as a way to stay informed about what is happening in their social circle and to learn about the behavior of others. This can be useful in understanding social dynamics and in making decisions about who to trust and who to avoid.

Thirdly, gossiping can be a form of entertainment or distraction from boredom. People often enjoy hearing and sharing stories about others, especially if they are juicy or scandalous. This can provide a sense of excitement and intrigue and can help to break up the monotony of daily life.

However, it is important to note that gossiping can also have negative consequences, such as damaging relationships or spreading false information. It is important to be mindful of these risks and to engage in gossip in a responsible and respectful way.

Don’t let your memories ruin your work…

You would have noticed whenever you are working on a tough task, something which is difficult or requires deep mental work. Our thoughts of failure demotivate us to not continue the work.

It either reminds us of our failure or makes us gloomy self-doubting ourselves why we are doing this task etc.

But go past it, give it some time, and keep continuing that task even with half-mind and things will clear out and we will be able to continue doing that task…

High Sensitivity Personality…

High sensitivity, also called sensory processing sensitivity, relates to having a more reactive nervous system, attuning to subtleties in the environment, and processing information more deeply. It’s a trait that’s been researched for more than 30 years and is found within 15% to 30% of the population. And yet, the majority of us aren’t aware of it.

Here are three distinct strengths of highly sensitive people (HSPs), and their benefits:

HSPs are skilled at spotting patterns, reading between the lines, and catching subtle cues. It gives them an edge over others to solve real-world problems faster if they can detach themselves.

HSPs are more attuned to others’ emotions and needs. Hence can be savvy persuaders and influencers, they are in general experts in their field.

HSPs have an uncanny ability to listen to multiple perspectives and find common ground, especially when conflict, tensions, or negotiations.

While they have a lot of advantages but one of the most significant disadvantages comes with the emotion attached to being sensitive.

If you are HSPs try to manage your emotion and use these traits to your advantage.

When in doubt follow your heart…

Human beings have got two machines for decisions making:

The first one is your mind, which tries to evaluate logic based on knowledge and make the most logical decision.

Second, is your heart, which takes an emotional path, and sometimes takes a riskier decision.

But, If you would have seen life sometimes even if you have made logical decisions it doesn’t pan out well.

So whenever you are in doubt and logic seems confusing, follow your heart, and take that decision thru your heart. Even if you fail, you still have both machines in place to move forward, so don’t worry.

It does not matter…

If you are not impacting others, it does not matter what you think or act upon.

If you really want to make difference, understand what others need, understand what others want, and act accordingly.

The more you can understand and act, the more impact you can make.
