Keep going…

Some days it feels like the world should stop.

It’s churning, it’s whirring and you are lost.

At a time like these;

Your path is your partner,

The path you choose,

The path you want to traverse,

The path is your soulmate.

So keep going even if it feels lost,

Because the path is with you.

Dislike Networking? Try This Tip!

Are you someone who dreads the idea of networking? The thought of engaging in small talk and mingling with strangers can be quite overwhelming. But fear not, networking doesn’t have to be a daunting task. Here’s a helpful strategy to navigate these uncomfortable situations:

Seek out fellow hesitant networkers. Remember, you’re not alone in feeling this way. When attending an in-person event, take a moment to observe your surroundings. Chances are, you’ll find someone standing alone or in a group but not actively participating in conversations. Approach them and strike up a conversation.

Transform networking into a game. If you’re an introvert, try adopting the persona of an extroverted character in a video game. Challenge yourself to earn points by initiating conversations with new people. It may sound a bit silly, but this imaginative approach can be surprisingly effective.

Discover shared interests. Instead of worrying about how to make small talk, focus on finding common ground with the person you’re conversing with. Prior to networking events, take some time to consider your own hobbies and interests, such as gardening, reading, or learning new technologies. This way, you can steer conversations toward topics you feel comfortable discussing.

Reframe your perception of networking. Networking doesn’t always mean meeting new people. Consider reaching out to friends from previous jobs or colleagues you’ve had limited contact with. Propose a low-pressure gathering, like meeting for coffee or scheduling a casual Zoom call. This allows you to connect with familiar faces and build relationships in a more relaxed setting.

By implementing these tips, you can redefine your networking experience and make it less intimidating. Remember, everyone has their own unique approach to networking, so find what works best for you.

/earth: file system full.

The Earth file system is full? What can we delete now?

The clue is humans use maximum hard disk with minimal productive data.

Can we delete and save /earth from crashing?

Moments of Wonder in Small things…

More than ever we need ways to recharge our energy, calm our anxieties, and practice self-care. Seeking out moments that inspire awe or wonder (experiences that push you to think about ideas, issues, and people outside of yourself) can help you achieve these goals.

This doesn’t necessarily require a trip to the Taj Mahal or a Five-star hotel; noticing a starry night sky, an unexpected act of kindness, or the changing colors of the leaves can be just as awesome.

One simple and powerful opportunity is to take an “awe walk” — a 20-minute break to wander, be curious, and observe the beauty around you (even in a familiar place like your yard or neighborhood). Suppose you can’t step away from your desk, take advantage of the natural wonders at your fingertips. In that case, several studies have shown that even videos of nature (check out the docuseries Planet Earth) can inspire our sense of awe.

Not only will these little moments of wonder recharge your batteries, they’ll also improve your creativity and collaboration at work.

The reason why truth wins…

Here are the reasons why truth wins over lies:

Lies are unsettling, it does not allow you to think far…

Truth is settling, it calms you and helps in long-term thinking.

The more lies you tell, the further you go away from yourself, and slowly but certainly you start lying to yourself.

Truth is harsh but it lets you grow, making you understand yourself better.

Lies make you weak, truth makes you bold.

So if it’s possible be with truth and ignore lies.

Even if you don’t have peers…

Do your social circles define you?

If you live with entrepreneurs you will become a successful entrepreneur.

If you live with artists you will become a successful artist.

So on ..so forth.

But does all the successful entrepreneur comes from the same area? Not really, in fact, they come from different varieties of areas and fields.

So conformity to a social circle mostly is just a historical data analysis, but the variety is what wins.  And variety gives the chance to everyone who does not have the opportunity to be in that circle.

So don’t worry if you don’t have the conformity of a good circle, you have the variety, you have the will to do good, to move forward, and be the bests!

So whatever you want to do, do it, it’s all on you!

How to Keep Your Hybrid Employees Engaged

How can you give your hybrid team both the autonomy and the flexibility they want while also encouraging togetherness? More emails and long video meetings aren’t the answer. Take steps to foster emotional connection, team bonding, and fun to compensate for the loss of proximity in the office.

First, have your team put together a working agreement that covers each member’s needs — for example, when they work and how often they need to meet — so they can better support each other.

Second, check in on your team members regularly, over email, chat, or in real-time on the phone or video.

Third, plan regular in-person offsites for collaboration-heavy work.

Fourth, to make up for the lack of smiles, nods, and other nonverbal cues that indicate appreciation, celebrate the small wins and praise your team members frequently.

Finally, get creative about sharing experiences together. You could arrange to watch a virtual musical performance together or share the same kind of meal on the same day.

Waiting to happen…

Sometimes we are waiting for things to happen.

Should we pause or keep doing our day-to-day work?

Pausing leads to more stress better is to keep doing what you are doing with your head down

And hope for the best it will happen!

Now or Never is a fallacy…

As the saying goes: If we don’t do it Now, it will Never be done.

Is it really true?

How about doing it when it comes to you, doing it with precision, doing it with consistency? I believe there is no point in being fanatic about doing it now. Do it when you believe in doing it.

Hence don’t worry if you missed things in life and regret that time has gone by. It will come again and that time you will be better prepared to do it.

So in life it’s more like:

Now or Whenever!
