Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the one who thinks he can!
Ask your Life
I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life will pay no more,
However I begged at evening,
When I counted my scanty store.
For Life is a just employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you have set of the wages,
Why, you must bear the task.
I worked for a menial’s hire,
Only to learn, dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have willingly paid
Speedstorming for Product Ideas
Are you stuck without any ideas on how to take your product to the next level, or achieve next product goal(s)? Our usual idea meetings take an infinite amount of time and without any conclusion. And what’s more not everyone contributes to the ideas.
Here is a simple process which gets rid of all these issues, please try and share your feedback.
To implement speedstorming, need to have a minimum of five people who have some familiarity with your market, five blank sheets of paper, and a watch.
Here is how it works:
1. Seat all five people at a table and give them each a blank sheet of paper. Make sure they know that during this exercise they can’t discuss their ideas or look at one another’s sheets of paper.
2. Tell them all to come up with three product features/ideas, give them five minutes, and set the timer on your watch for five minutes.
3. When the timer goes off, have the participants pass their paper to the person seated to their left.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 five times, except for the final time have everybody give their sheets to the person leading the product development effort.
Just like that, you should have 75 ideas to consider for your product. Even if two thirds
of the suggestions are not particularly useful, this would still leave you with 25
pretty decent ideas to start from.
What makes this process work well is that it gets all five people involved. If you were to try to do the same exercise with a whiteboard, you would likely get far fewer ideas,
and some of the people in the room would contribute little, often because they are shy. This process gets everyone involved, and it’s actually fun as well!
Get out of your comfort zone…
If we don’t learn to embrace being uncomfortable, we will need to learn how to embrace irrelevance, and that will be much harder.
Different ways to control anger….
Can we control our anger?
We all get angry and sometimes we do not have control or choice over the conditions which gets us angry. It might be boss or a colleague. Whatever be the reason it eats up a lot of our time and makes us feel very negative about everything else.
So how can we control our anger or at least come back to the normal condition in lesser time? Here are some of the points which we can try:
1. Identify the cause or trigger – Try to avoid the trigger which causes anger.
2. Walk away – Just walk away from the scenario or place. Yes, it sounds weak, but actually, it’s being much stronger controlling your anger.
3. Let go – Let it go, some things are beyond our control so just let it go.
4. Feel good – Switch your brain to something more interesting, some other sensations like below:
- Eyes – Watch something which is of your interests or funny etc. Take a walk in nature etc. Or Read something interesting.
- Ears – Sooting music can really bring your mood up
- Taste – Eat something which you like.
- Skin – Take a warm bath or go swimming.
- Smell – A fragrance which you like most
Based on these go try it out, and be less angry more healthy!!
Why we dont judge nature?
Ever wondered why we don’t judge nature?
Have you noticed that we do not judge nature, we do not say that the scenic view of sun should have more shade or it should have more brightness etc. We enjoy it with childlike curiosity and love. Why do we start judging ourselves or people? What changed us, not to accept ourselves and others as it is and look at it from curiosity and love rather than other negative emotions?
If we can stop judging ourselves and others, the world will be a much better place just like nature. Our mind will be free to do much better things……….
So like nature let’s observe our life and others with more curiosity and love, same as we observe mother nature.
Create Mini Habits to Build Habits….
All of us want to create good habits so that we be happier and more content in life. But somehow the tasks of getting into good habits become so huge that we all give up.
A simple solution is instead of trying to create habits with a longer cycle, create mini habits by breaking your habits into mini steps. As its proven:
It’s all about practice, not performance when we are looking to create a habit.
Here are few examples of breaking into small steps for mini habits:
Exercising: Start the exercising by doing one pushup a day, make sure you achieve it consistently daily. You can do more than one day but one is mandatory.
Writing: Start with one line per day, make sure you write one line per day without fail (Offcourse you can write more 🙂 )
I am sure all of us can figure out smarter ways to break our own wannabe habits into mini habits and accomplish our goals, so go create mini habits to build habits!!!

Beggar with a Bowl….
Long ago there was a beggar who came to a greatest and most powerful king and asked the king for alms.
The Beggar said, “If you are filling my bowl, promise me you will fill the bowl full”. King was surprised and kind of angry, saying “What do you think I can’t even fill a bowl?”. Beggar answered it’s up to you to decide but once promised you have to fill the bowl full.
King ordered best jewels and diamonds to be filled in the bowl, as soon as the bowl was filled it became empty. King was very angry and order more to fill the bowl. King could not give up and the whole kingdom was consumed but the bowl was still empty. King at last begged with the beggar why is the bowl not filling?
Beggar said “The Bowl is like Human Desires it is never fulfilled no matter what you fill it with”
Release the Pasts
Do you know anyone who has fully left the past behind him or her? Few of us achieve that freedom. For all of us, at some level, the past is not really the past. Even when painful circumstances occurred weeks, months, or years ago, at a deep emotional level we still hold on to them.
We attempt to bury them, but they still affect our lives. The energy we use in regrets and resentments burns at an unconscious level, so we don’t realize why we are nagged by feelings of negativity or unhappiness. Yet, unless we somehow release that negative energy, the past affects our present-day experience and shapes our future.
We cannot hold onto negative energy from the past in the form of grudges, resentments, and fears, and at the same time move toward highest potential. Why? Because negative feelings block the flow of positive energy into our lives.
The best way to release the past is to forgive..forgive ourselves and those people and situations that hurt us. Just as our bodies heal physical bruises, our inner self wants to heal emotional injuries. We heal by releasing those injuries. We release by forgiving.
To forgive, we face the matter and own it. We acknowledge that the negative energy we’ve been carrying around no longer serves us. We choose to leave the situation behind and in doing so, we forgive.
Forgiveness is a gift to ourselves. It release us from the past, fills our lives with positive emotions and frees us to shape abundant, successful tomorrows.
